Thanksgiving Week

I was bad again and didn't get my camera out much the past week but did manage to snap a few. My mom came down from Washington for four days and Don also had those four days off so it was nice to just stay home which was pretty much what we did the whole time, we played lots of games, watched movies, played, and just relaxed, it was fun and I was so bummed to have everyone gone today and to get back in the swing of things, but those days off from life definetly left me energized for the next few weeks until Christmas! Oh and I was reminded yet again, how much I enjoyed our kitchen island, I was in the kitchen making caramels and everyone just pulled up a stool and hung out right there, I love my family! You are all a blessing to me every day! Yes that means you, too MOM!

Oh the joy!

I had to share the loveliness of a nine year old girl full of sugar and spice and everything nice. This picture was taken in the midst of Morgan's "attitude attack."

Someone loves his noodles huh?

Fun craft

I've been wanting to do a thankful tree for a while and finally got one done. I cut out a tree trunk and colored it then had the kids write down what they were thankful for on leaves, they colored and cut them out and voila, cool art project!
Before

After: We will add to it when we think of new things but it was a cool way to think of all we are thankful for this season!

Thank you Grandma Mary

This past week my mother in law sent us an amazing gift. A new piano keyboard!!!! So excited to teach the kids how to play and dust off my playing fingers!

Sweet little helper

Look what my beautiful daughter decided to do this past week. I was so thankful not to have to do it for once. I am sure after this experience however she will not volunteer for the task again, lol. Oh my what a wet child and bathroom we had after that but man was Ben ever clean!

Lately I have been struggling to find something to keep Brock occupied during homeschool and have not been successful. Today I printed out some coloring pages which occupied him for about ten minutes. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to entertain him during homeschool I would appreciate it as would the kids! I can't take a lot of time to play with him because I need to help the other three with their work, I'm thinking of ordering him some curriculum...

Who wouldn't love to do their schoolwork in their pajamas at 10 in the morning?

Official pumpkin post

I was a bad mom and didn't take pictures of the pumpkins at night but yesterday before they made their way into the garbage can I snapped a few.

This is mine
