Needless to say with much stress, a sprained ankle and a possible torn something in his knee (hubby that is) my blogging and picture taking priority has gone by the wayside. So here are a few updates in pictures and I will try hahahahaha attempt to keep this blog updated from now on.

Thursday

Rearranged the toy area today, and am very happy with the additional room for all the kiddos to play in. Don is out working on his latest project. We now have 1970 and 1973 Volkwagon Beetles that are in the midst of being rejuvenated, they need motor, and body work but we are so excited for the project, it's a whole family thing as hopefully the kids will be able to drive them someday.

Picture failure

I went all day Wednesday not taking a single picture, I did however get the walls in the house washed which I am embarassed to admit I haven't done it several, several years. I woke up this morning to slightly spaghettish arms but so happy to see those gleaming, walls. Yep that's about the extent of excitement for our day. I know the crazy interesting life I live is so glamorous isn't it?

Tuesday Swim Day

We went to the river because the indoor pool didn't have open swim. I posted a video Mom so you could see Ty swimming, so much different from when you were here for Cale's birthday, huh?

It's a thing of beauty

The repair man showed up at 1:30 this afternoon and was gone by 2:15. It took our little air conditioner almost six hours to get down to the temp we normally keep our house at. I am now enjoying a cup of coffee sitting in my sweatshirt. Take that eco-friendly people, lol.

Sunday

Well our air conditioner went out Saturday night and we won't be able to call the repair people until Monday morning so we are dealing with some unbearable temperatures outside which are now sneaking inside.

Friday

I had a complete and utter failure Friday as far as pictures are concerned. It was a very difficult day for me. My two daycare kids fought almost the entire day, no matter what I did I couldn't win and then to top it off they slept about an hour during naps instead of the usual three. Thankful it's the weekend and for some much needed family time.

We took my mom fishing with us this past weekend, she bought a non-residence license and said she had a great time which is punctuated by her "I am crazy" smile in her picture. I think we may have cultivated the fishing seed in her. Hoping for many more fishing trips with her AND that we will catch something next time.

Wednesday

Thankful for the ability to send the kids outside on a sunny day and the ingenuity to use my lame IKEA umbrella to keep the sun off lol.

My mom gave me a dress the other day and I sized it down to fit Morgan. She loves it.
